The mysterious sequence

Last few weeks I’ve been working on a new sequence called “Mysterious”. Inspired on the movie Knowing with Nicolas Cage and photography off Jeff Wall and painter Edward Hopper. Gregory Crewdson has been an inspirational photographer all the way. This is a sneak preview of my work, more to come ;)

Garden by sunset

garden

Again a sunset, but one with some nice shadows shot in the garden.

It looks a bit like a French garden, drinking wine and having fun till late in the evening.

Walking the dog

Walking the dog

Some pictures are just ment to be a starter for wild thoughts. What happens here?
Where is the dog going to, and what happens next? Assumption is one of the big tools in photography. It keeps the viewer (you) wondering what could be or would have happened next. It’s the imagination and curiosity that drives us to look deeper into the meaning of the image.
